Coffee and sweet rolls available on the patio.  Space assignments, name tags, artist’s statement and description of art in display format will be given out.  Review of Guidelines and introduction of artists.

4:00pm – Music in Motion, (BUSD Honor Choir from Gladstone, Roynon, Eckstrand, and Allen Avenue Elementary Schools), Heidi Brightbill-Bartley, Director

On the ½ Hour (2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:30PM) Docent tours of the Art & Architecture of the Church of the Brethren

Note:  This afternoon event will focus on families and will include face painting and take-home art projects for kids.  Refreshments of punch and cookies, popcorn, or snow-cones.     Artwork by children will be on display on the patio, Headstart Hallway, and perhaps the Friendship Room.  Entertainment by and for children will be provided every ½ hour to 45 minutes.  Program will list all child artists by the groups they are affiliated with, and those children that are performing with the times of their afternoon performances. 

5  – 6:15 P.M.  Show Closed (Dinner on Your Own)

6:30 – 8:00 P.M.  Celebration Concert in the Sanctuary

You are also welcome to enjoy the classes for adults and children, followed by the  worship service.  Each will have as their focus the joy of creativity.

  

9:15 – 10:15 A.M.  Church School Hour

            All classes focus on the creative spirit within each of us.  Children’s classes will be hands-on opportunities in music, art, dance and story telling.  Youth and adult classes host visiting artists and talk about the creative process.
